Continuing to chat with press about her relationship woes, Heidi Montag most recently spoke about her need for “time apart” from Spencer Pratt.
Talking to People magazine, the “Hills” reality star explained, “I needed some alone time. There are so many lies out there about me and I just needed space – even away from my husband.”
The 23-year-old continued to say that there wasn’t a big incident leading to her move-out - more an accumulation of issues.
“I had to get away from the lies my family and supposed friends are saying about me,” Montag tells. “It’s time to concentrate on myself.”
Not giving up hope on getting back with Pratt in the future, Montag finished by saying, “I’ve always loved Spencer, but right now we’re working on things.”
