While her role on “Ghost Whisperer” may have come to an abrupt end after the show was recently pulled from the NBC lineup, Jennifer Love Hewitt has already landed herself a racy new role.
The brunette beauty is working as both producer and star on a new gig called “The Client List,” which is coming to Lifetime television network this summer.
As for Miss Love Hewitt’s character, she plays Samantha Horton, a “former Texas homecoming queen and physical therapist who is forced to look for work to support her family after both she and her faded football star husband lose their jobs. On the brink of bankruptcy, she desperately accepts a position as a massage therapist at a parlor, unwittingly finding herself stuck in the middle of a prostitution ring.”
Of the project, Jen tells ET, “Given where we are economically, it’s an interesting story. It’s really a movie about the human condition, and the heart, and where life can take you.”
